Sweden, my love
I’m a German-born Dutch living in the south of Sweden.
With a degree in Scandinavian Cultures and Literature from the University of Groningen, I’ve spent the past 25 years working as a translator—mainly for Swedish organizations and government institutions. So it came as little surprise when, in 2015, we bought a house in southern Sweden and gradually relocated there with our two youngest sons, who were then 7 and 12. Our eldest stayed behind in Groningen to pursue his studies.
I’m passionate about sustainable living and travel in Sweden, and I’d love to share that passion with you. Maybe you’re thinking about moving to this beautiful northern country yourself, or perhaps you simply share my appreciation for all things Scandinavian—and a slower, more mindful way of life.
Feel free to join me on this journey to a place I’ve truly come to love.
Until then, I wish you …
… All the Best from Sweden
Natascha
